Caldwell House Bed and Breakfast

Lovely pandemic safe weekend! My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. The bed and breakfast is cozy, historic, and romantic. We appreciated the contact less check in, delicious breakfast delivered to the door, and the very clean room (with hand sanitizer!). The bed and breakfast was a great home base to do some exploring of Hudson valley. I highly recommend!

We searched for a nice place and area to celebrate my wife's 60th and daughter's 27th birthdays and found a slice of heaven. Meticulously restored historic buildings and grounds. Beautiful spacious rooms. Immaculately clean. Nicely appointed with top of the line toiletries and accessories. Tailor-made gourmet breakfasts delivered right to our rooms. Super area offering plenty of hiking, restaurants, and vistas overlooking the Hudson River valley. Truly a luxurious and memorable way to spend their birthdays. Highly recommended!

Wife and I have been here 3 times over the past few years. The rooms are beautiful and the stay is always relaxing. Each room has a special touch and full of amenities. They make a great breakfast with variety and are always very nice and accommodating. They did a great job with the contactless checkin/checkout, disinfecting and both hand sanitizer and wipes in the room.

Perfect for a weekend getaway! With all the travel restrictions, we were looking to go somewhere driveable (only 1 hour away from NYC) and stumbled on the Caldwell House. The reviews were fantastic so we decided to book, and we were not disappointed! It was the perfect location with Westpoint, Storm King, and Brotherhood winery nearby. The pre-arrival communication was so thoughtful and they made sure we were aware of all the changes in place due to COVID. Dena, John, and the whole team were so polite and friendly - we can't wait to come back again soon!

We were looking for a place to celebrate our 25th anniversary and due to Covid weren’t comfortable going on a big trip. Our stay at the Caldwell House Bed and Breakfast was wonderful. We were worried about Covid but the room was very clean upon our arrival. The owners John and Dena dropped a wonderful breakfast at our door every morning at 9:00 and we were able to take our time enjoying it in our room. The room had a great hot tub and a fireplace. We enjoyed the area during the day and were able to have our dinner at Loughran’s pub which backs up to the B and B each evening. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this area during the other seasons.
