Proctor Roofing came highly recommended by a neighbor who had a great experience a number of years ago. However, we have been extremely disappointed with their customer service, communication, and worker’s behavior onsite. I’m hopeful that the quality of the roof and their commitment to fixing any leaks will stand, but it’s too soon for us to be able to comment on that. From our perspective the roof looks fine.nnProctor completed an estimate for us in early November; we contacted them that we’d like to move forward shortly after that. Expecting a 2-3 week turnaround as communicated, we didn’t hear from them for 2 months, with me reaching out several times in between. We chose to move forward with them even with the communication issue because of the glowing recommendation.nnWhen we did hear from them, they wanted to schedule us for the next day. Working from home, that wouldn’t have been an option. When we were able to get the work scheduled, our roof was done in two days – with about 20 workers onsite.nnWhen they were done, there was a considerable amount of black tar-like material left on our vinyl siding in about a dozen places in addition to damage to gutters, aluminum, and vinyl siding. In addition to damage to the house itself, the property and our attic was littered with nails, roofing debris, left over food, and food wrappers, and we are certain that workers used the back of the house as their own personal toilet.nnIt seems obvious in hindsight, but this being our first roof, we wish they would have communicated that we should expect a lot of debris in our attic. If they had, we would have taken steps to protect the items that we have up there from the fine dust and roof debris. We have spent at least 15 hours cleaning and we are about half way through.nnWhen we communicated the issues to the owner, Jerry Proctor, he assured us that he would have a crew to take care of the damage to the property first thing on the next business day. The crew arrived late in the day and addressed some, but not all of the issues.nnI’m sure at one point Proctor earned their excellent reputation, but I hope no one has to go through the experience that we are navigating.

These guy are amazing. They came the afternoon before they were scheduled. At 3:10 they called me at work asking if they could start roof. I said yes. It will take me 35 mins to get home. When I arrived most of my roof was off. By 6:40 I had a new roof installed all cleaned up and gone. This team worked so well together it’s unbelievable. I watched them work to make sure it was done the way I wanted. Never said a word to them done perfect. Crew was great. All of them.

James and Rob did a superb job building our new deck. Looks great and very solid. Highly recommend the Proctor roofers and builders.
