Wingate By Wyndham Rome

I don't normally give this low of a rating because I like to see the positive side of things but the front desk lady in the evening was just awful...not only mean and rude to us but to the young gentleman in front of us. I do need to recognize the lady at the front desk in the morning at check out...she was super nice and we really appreciated that.nThe hotel was clean but definitely needs some fixing with paint peeling from ceiling & wallpaper peeling off walls in our room. The bed was comfy and I appreciated a roof over my head with our long travel.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The rooms had modern appliances, but maintained an older charm. I highly recommend upgrading to one of the rooms with a personal tub with jets. The only downsides are that the walls are a bit thin, so you may occasionally hear the room next to or above you.

Nice, clean, spacious rooms at an affordable price....BUT....with the cheap price, comes the problem of people getting rooms to party in. People next to my room were super loud throughout the night and front desk did come up to speak to them but it didnt really solve the problem totally. There were other rooms that were very loud that I could hear when I left my room. Just a horrible experience
