I make trips to Rome just to spend time in the company of the host with the most, Fred Rice and his resident felines! He has created an oasis of old-world charm with comfortable beds, beautiful appointments and delicious goodies. Time spent at the Oak and Ivy is like stepping back in time to a more gracious period. What a beautiful surprise. Attended a tea event here recently and was blown away by the beautiful interior decorating. It is gorgeous inside, with lots of cute nooks to enjoy tea and company.
