Salvatore's Garden Place Hotel

Let's start with the bed that was actually 2 single mattresses put together. Imagine a crevice in the center of where you and your partner are trying to sleep. It would be uncomfortable for even just one person. We were excited to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary with the bliss package. Just a heads up, the hotel does not assist in making spa reservations and need to be done prior to your day of check in. This would have been nice to know as we did not get to use the spa voucher. The dinner and drink portion of the package was fantastic. The shuttle service is a definite bonus. My husband and I could both enjoy our drinks and not worry about getting back to the hotel. The jetted tub was another part we looked forward to. Just wish the room was updated with one mattress, maybe a different surround for the tub instead of old carpet stapled to the side, and the alarm clock has the original iPhone adapter. For the price one would think you could expect better. Our room in NYC was bigger and better for less.

Everything was beautiful. The room had great lighting. The beds were properly made with fresh linens. The bathroom was clean. The rug was vacuumed. The dresser and night stand had been dusted. We sprayed everything with lysol. I slept for about 3 hours woke up around 11p. I felt refreshed. I went to my car to get a bottled water...came back to the room to find a bedbug having babies on my pillow.nnThe receptionist was very nice. Great customer service. She was the star!!!!!!!!

I booked the Garden place for my wedding night, thinking this was going to be a high end experience, and I can honestly say it was the worst hotel experience I've had. We had an abundance of problems in a very outdated rooms. I booked a whirlpool suite, which I was supposed to be one of the nicer rooms. There were no accessible working outlets, the tub was broken, and after returning after my wedding, there had been no room service after I specifically asked for it. It was honestly a horrible and stressful experience on what was supposed to be a wonderful night. I tried to reach out to let them know of the issues and received no response 2 months later. As a Buffalo native, I am so disappointed in what is supposed to be my hometown staple. I do NOT recommend. Not worth the money.

Nice hotel but the room was outdated. From the pictures I saw online, it wasn’t what I expected. Especially since I paid a good amount of money. Walking down the hallway from and to my room, I got to see other rooms that housekeeping was tending to, the rooms looked so much better and updated than the room I had. Plus the hot water in the shower wasn’t working. Room service was great, the food was excellent.

First there was a problem with the shower and once notified i was given a new room with the same benefits as the last. No trouble and it was great staff were polite and made me feel welcomed and appreciated. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and have already.
