Homewood Suites by Hilton Buffalo-Airport

This is our 3rd and last night of our stay here. We've had a great time in Buffalo, and this is a really nice room to come back to. We've got a separate bedroom from the kids, 2 full bathrooms, living room, kitchenette and dining table. It's basically like an apartment. The price was a little higher than I'd normally pay, but it's been worth it. Due to covid restrictions, you call down to order breakfast the night before and go downstairs to pick it up in the morning. There are a lot of good choices on the breakfast menu. And you can schedule pool time so there aren't too many people in there at once. I'd stay here again next time we visit the area.

I had a sleep over for my daughter's birthday here and we loved it. The rooms was excellent, very big and well stocked kitchen. The pool was very nice and big. They were very accommodating with the booking of pool time (covid restrictions). Finally, the staff was helpful and friendly

I wish I could give this a zero. I was excited to try this hotel based on reviews. Upon arrival, our room was not ready for 3pm check in time. At 3:45 the girl at the front desk finally came to the lounge to tell us it was all set. My boyfriend and I were traveling with our 16 month old, tired and hungry. When we entered the room, we immediately could not breathe due to whatever they had sprayed in the air to make it seem clean. I could taste it, it was so strong. It was definitely not safe for the baby to breathe in and we certainly couldn’t eat in there. The dishwasher was still running with dirty dishes from the previous guests. I had to clean some sort of red sauce off the wall so my baby didn’t touch it. There was hair in the bathtub stuck to the jets. Then, the straw that broke the camels back and made us immediately get up and leave- little black hairs all over the hand/face towel at the sink. It was bad enough where we didn’t even care if we were stranded without a reservation on our trip, we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I feel horrible that my child spent even 10 minutes in that filthy room. So disappointed!!!

We have stayed at many Homewood Suites and have always been very pleased. We stayed here because we trust the brand and the overwhelmingly positive reviews, but I did not feel they represent this property adequately.nnThe staff was all wonderful.nnThe room (fireplace suite) felt worn out. The furniture, kitchen, carpet, bathroom...appeared clean on surface level but is all in need of both a deep clean and update.nnThis is definitely a party hotel. The room had a faint odor of marijuana and cigarette smoke. There was constant hallway noise all night. There were empty glass liquor bottles in the parking lot. There was a man passed out in the lobby. There is also armed security in the lobby which was...alarming for Homewood.nnDespite the noise and not feeling totally safe, our stay was adequate for the cost but I would not stay here again and wish I had read a similar review before selecting this property.

Beautiful, spacious, and clean room. Plenty of free parking in a well lit lot. Excellent customer service from front desk clerk. I will definitely visit here again.
