The Solitude Inn

What am awesome place. Stayed here for a little over a week while working in nearby Walton. The views from the wraparound porch or upstairs balcony were on point. The only drawback was I have to leave. The owners Monica and Joe are great people who take pride in making sure you feel at home. 100% recommend this place!

It's a nice place about a mile and a half in the woods. Everything works well and the owners are really nice. The dog is really nice and has no aggressiveness towards people. Overall a nice place.

Monica and Joe were wonderful. They were very friendly and made our stay comfortable and as if we were at home. Although we stayed over a year ago for Fourth of July my family and I will always remember our wonderful time at the Solitude Inn. At the time I was expecting and my sister was engaged to be married and we couldn't have been at a better place to stay. What a beautiful home and accommodating hosts! The house is well-stocked with anything you could need in the kitchen or bath. Linens and beds are comfortable and the house itself has plenty of character. Very relaxing setting! Worth a visit!

I think about our beautiful week at solitude often! Thank you so much for sharing the lovely house and grounds with others. A true serenity lodge! I came home refreshed and relaxed.
