CVS

Prescription called in at 10am, called at 3pm - supposed to be ready at 425pm, show up at 625pm...still not ready. When you only have limited time to get things done and have to pay a babysitter, it would be nice for the pharmacy to be able to do their job efficiently. It always seems like they’re understaffed here. Now we have to go another day without the prescription and who knows when I’ll be able to make it back. It’s for a box of powder. How hard can it be to fill?!

The store is clean, and the staff up front is quick to help, but the pharmacy is lacking. It always takes ages to get meds filled. I know they are extremely busy, and I had often told myself they need more staff. It’s clear they are all working every time I go there. I can see they are hustling, however, today was not great at all. I was already frustrated because a few weeks prior I had asked if they could add my daughters secondary insurance to her profile. They told me they can’t add secondary insurance and that o would have to submit manually. However, my parents and my son all have secondary insurance on file with them. Today, they were working hard, but I had a prescription called in at 10am. I arrived at 2pm (for some reason I never get a call when my stuff is ready even though the number is correct), and I’m told they never got the Rx. I ask if they could call my doctor to confirm and the girl pulls out her cell phone, then says “I mean we wouldn’t have their number, so maybe you can call them”. I work in a doctors office and we constantly get calls from CVS and many other pharmacies asking about information on the script or even a few times stating that a customer is waiting and they want to get the Rx info. I know electronic sending isn’t 100% perfect. So, I call and of course can’t get to a person. There is an option for doctors and pharmacists to speak to medical staff, but since I’m not the pharmacy I’m not going to choose that option. Then it hit me, my legal name has changed, and my doctor has my updated name on record. My insurance card still has my old name. I ask her if she can look up my new name and she says she will and will call me when it’s filled. I pointed out that it had been 4 hours, and ask her again to double check and she says it wouldn’t have been filled yet and I’ll have to come back later. I leave and head straight home (a 10 minute drive so not far), and as I pull into the driveway, I get a call saying it’s ready to pick up. It’s frustrating because it was either already ready under my legal name, or I could’ve waited for it. I’m sure she was burned out, which means CVS really needs to hire more people!

getting tired of the wait its ridiculous. i called 4 times to tell you yo fill my prescription first time over 7 1/2 min 2nd 6 min to other times no one ever answered i was on hold. I go there you dont havebit filled and want me to wait 25 min .no I don't think so you guys need more help.or ill take my business somewhere else

Went in for a flu shot. Maskless customers and pharmacists. Disgusting.
