Nice place, but they will try to steal your deposit money. We left the place as clean as we found it, but they charged $400 for a bent fork (not even joking, they sent a picture of a bent fork), using hard dishwasher soap (the soap that was provided), and for opening a locked closed (know nothing about this, but they sent a picture of an open closet door). I don't know what we could have done differently to avoid the $400 charge. Maybe someone was eating too aggressively and bent the fork?nn...they actually charged for bending a fork.

I thought everything went well until I did not get my deposit back. It took 3 messages and numerous weeks to hear anything back from the owners. Ultimately, they stole $400 from me for a bent fork (no lie, see photo they sent me) Dirty dishes, because I used the wrong soap in the dishwasher (I used the soap they provided under the sink, also photo) and claimed someone in my party broke into a locked closet, which I have spoken to everyone in my group and this is absolutely not true. After reading some other reviews on VRBO, I believe they discriminate against younger renters. If you are a group of guys or girls getting away for the weekend, do not expect your deposit back. A BENT PRONG ON A FORK I KID YOU NOT. I wonder how much of the $400 they stole went into replacing the fork instead of just, you know, bending it back.

We had a weekend getaway without a group of guys (all 30+) at Lily Estates. We thought we took great care of the place, I even set all the patio furniture (there’s a lot) all back neatly where we found them! However, they did not return our deposit... Correction, they stole $400 from us. There biggest reason was due to a bent fork, they even sent a picture. You read that correctly, a bent FORK. And we used the soap in the dishwasher that they provided for us, but apparently we weren’t suppose to do that either. Would not recommend booking here unless you want to risk them stealing from you as well. VERY shady owners.

Decent place, decent location, but they won’t give you your deposit back. They’ll find things that have already been broken and blame you for it and charge you big!
