For the most part this place is pretty cozy little place managers are nice. I just wish the beds were more comfortable these beds hurt my back
No breakfast was provided until I asked where it was. He then pulled a frozen pastry and said here. Disappointing when it says free continental breakfast. Check out was at 11am but at 9:30am the owner walked straight into our room, he didn't even knock.nn*edit to add. There were no signs about breakfast and your website should be updated to say breakfast is currently unavailable. I wouldn’t have paid the price to stay here.
We arrived very late & the hotel clerk was very gracious. The room was clean & comfortable. Quiet place. Small breakfast, they have a exercise room with couple of machines. overall enjoyed our stay. There is a banquet, bar & restaurant next door. Would stay here again on our way back.
Came into contact with 4 employees during 2 day stay only 1 employee had a mask on. Mgr/clerk did not wear one upon check in. Zero covid policies were in use.nBreakfast was to be provided none was available. When I asked mgr. About these items he barked at me NO COMPLAINING. I contacted RLH Inns who owns americas best value inns & was told that these hotels are franchised & that there was nothing they could do about the lack of covid practices with this establishment but let the owner know my concerns.nWould not recommend staying here to many other places to stay in Monticello, mn. just 5 minutes away.
Clean and comfortable, but clerk knocked on our door at 9 a.m. to see if we were still there when checkout is 11. Very Rude
