Stately, beautiful, historic and friendly.
This was a great place for a get-away. It is an old mansion, now bed and breakfast, just a short walk from Lake Superior. It is a beautiful and old part of town and very scenic. The owners are great and very hospitable.
I recently stayed 3 nights at the Merryweather Inn for a business trip and really enjoyed staying there. My room was clean and spacious and the bedroom and living rooms were separate from each other which was nice as I made phone calls and worked on my computer in my living room throughout the day. Beth made a delicious breakfast every morning and was very friendly and accommodating. The building is a classic old time mansion with design features that most other Inns or hotels can't replicate. I definitely will return.
What a charming and delightful B&B! This Grand mansion is chock full of Minnesota history. This was our 2nd visit and we plan on returning for a 3rd. We absolutely adore Beth, and she is always a gracious hostess. She pays great attention to detail, and always exceeds our expectations.nnWe just love the Merryweather Inn and the awesome staff!
This B&B had amazing vintage charm, great hosts, and wonderful decoration. There is a lovely garden, plants all over the house, and plentiful seating indoors and out.nnOur room had a couch, a sun room, and a balcony. It was so cozy and comfortable.nnWhat blew us away was the fantastic three course breakfast with fruit, corn bread, and a strawberry cake.nnWould absolutely stay here again next time I'm in Duluth.
