The good:n-Ray at the front desk was friendly and exceptionally helpful.n-Our room had a nice view (pictured)n-Our room was quietnnThe bad:n-They were extremely understaffed, resulting in a slow check-in process and other delays. Ray was the only one at the desk, running the whole show by himself. We arrived 30 minutes after the designated check-in time and our room wasn't ready. We had to wait about 20 minutes for someone to clean it. The check-in process remained slow throughout the evening; every time we walked by the desk there was a line.n-The room was not very clean. There were many stains on the walls and furniture. The toilet was stained and the seat was peeling.n-We had minimal supplies in our room including exactly one small towel and a facial wipe. We didn't have any soaps, no cups, no coffee pot, no additional towels. Fortunately Ray helped us with those items.nnOverall would not recommend, even at the less expensive price (compared to other hotels in Duluth.) In hindsight we wished we had spent more money for a more comfortable stay.

Not a bad hotel far as party room and pool was ok... only no shower/bathroom for pool

Two thumbs down and by far the worst experience I've had at a hotel. Our room didnt have power nearly the entire stay, though most rooms did have power. Couldn't move us, couldn't reimburse us. The manager I talked to in the morning about it was incredibly rude and lied about the severity of outages around town in order to avoid making things right. I finished the rest of my weeks stay next door!

No daily housekeeping--had to ASK for towels and for garbage to be taken out. Hallways are very loud on the weekend from screaming, crying kids and dogs barking. Housekeeping BLARES music from 11am-4pm while cleaning vacant rooms. Male housekeeper playing extremely inappropriate and profane music. Not a quiet place to work. During my stay, the power went out for 3 hours & the elevator was out of order for two days.

Awesome hotel!!! Highly recommended!!!! Had a truly Great stay!!!! Slept incredibly well and was well-NEEDED!!!!!nThe front desk receptionists were extremely helpful and ALWAYS were quick to jump into to action, regardless of the request!! And its super close to the Mall and a lot of other great shopping opportunities as well!!! And if you're looking to EAT GOOD FOOD?!! DONT WORRY...ud83dudc4dud83dudc4dud83dudc4cud83dudc4cud83dude0dud83dude01ud83dude00 you definitely, WILL NOT have a hard time finding what you like or what you're looking for!!! Cuz within a mile you can find PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING you're CRAVING. even if you aren't mobile or if the weather is bad; the delivery options are plentiful I had a really good cheap rate that I found via HOTWIRE. BUT MOST OF ALL the BEST PART OF MY STAY, FOR ME.... was the HOT BREAKFAST(buffet style), and they had a variety constantly rotating items; with hot and cold options as well!!! From scrambled eggs & ham & sausage, to pancake wrapped Jimmy Dean sausage, to cereal, to yogurt, fresh fruit, doughnuts & pastries, etc..... and from my last 10-15 hotel stays this hotel was the one of the ONLY hotels to offer this ammenity;(not just another cold & exactly the same every day, paper bag breakfast like every other hotel covid-19 restricted breakfast) despise the countless strict covid-19 restricted standards and its detrimental affect it has had on this very important start to every day !!!!!! I give Americ Inn a 5 out of 5 and will recommend this hotel again and again!!!!! Thanks!!!!
