Start off your family trip to the Duluth area with a stay at Stony Point! This is a spacious home with phenomenal views of Lake Superior just steps away from the house. The owner responded to questions right away, quickly made a same day minor repair that we very much appreciated and even had a hair dryer delivered to the house for us! Having four bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms was great - with each of us having our own room and shared bathrooms. The house was well stocked and we easily cooked and consumed many meals there. I would definitely recommend Stony Point to travelers headed to the North Shore of Lake Superior. C. Trangsrud

This is a spacious beautiful home on Lake Phalen. Perfect for our family get together. Booking, arrival and departure were friction free. Bring you own soap and shampoo. And check if you need TP. The larder’s are lightly stocked. But otherwise an A+ experience.

We truly enjoyed staying in this beautiful home with our children & grand-children. It was so much better then the pictures show. Every room had beautiful artwork and decor. The beds were very comfortable with great pillows. The kitchen had everything we needed. Loved being able to wash our clothes before leaving in the convenient washer and dryer. Beautiful view from the living room, and we enjoyed our coffee every morning on the patio. Had a fire in the evening at the fire pit with S'Mores. There were lots of chairs for everyone around the pit. We picked up firewood in town, which was just a few minutes away from the house. A short walk to the beach gave us hours of fun with our grand-children. They loved it! One suggestion for our one year old grandchild- The home would be perfectly safe for the toddler if more netting was around the stairs so that the toddler wouldn't fall down to the basement. We put the chairs by the stairs which worked, but then couldn't use the chairs for the extra people because they were far away from the TV & couches. If you don't have toddlers, no worries. Overall, this was a perfect choice! So clean and tastefully decorated! The owner was very helpful in answering all of our questions. We will rent this home again if we ever come back to Duluth!
