If you're looking for a cosy and very beautiful B&B with super friendly and helpful owners this is just the perfect spot! Hans and his wife Marjorie helped us with everything we wanted to know about the area, what places to visit and where to go for delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend everyone visiting the area this place. The room was lovely decorated, clean, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was just fantastic. Besides the accommodation, this area has a lot to offer and we didn't regret picking this particular area. After returning from our day trips we must say Hans is an awesome entertainer. He is always up for some relaxed sit-ins by the fireplace in their yard and seems genuinely interested in your day. The owners have somehow their own way of making every guest feel warmly welcomed and comfortable. There's really nothing like this place!!
Hans and Marjorie were exceptional hosts. We really enjoyed getting to know them. They gave us great info about the area and let us use beach chairs for a day. Breakfasts were delicious and the coffee/cappuccino outstanding. The Inn is beautiful, comfortable, and extremely clean. We can't wait to visit again.
Elizabeth Rose House is beautiful and quintessential Maine. Our visit was at the end of September 2020 and luckily for us the leaves were peaking the day we arrived. The property is beautifully maintained. Specifically we enjoyed the screened in porch attached to the living room with gas fireplace. There is a small library with games, fire pit, and a massive upgraded kitchen. Marjorie and Hans were knowledgeable and welcoming hosts for our week long stay. There is high speed internet and satellite TV although we did not use either very often.They serve breakfast at the guest requested time, lend out items guest may have forgotten and of course recommend many places to visit. This includes beautiful drives, shopping, coffee shops, bike rides, hikes, and kayaking areas. I will be recommending them for a very long and time and will be back soon.
Extremely friendly hosts. Great breakfast. The house is a bit on the old side but the room is spacey and clean and the hosts will go the extra mike to make you feel at home.
Hans and his wife were so accommodating for our 1 night stay! Provides us beach chairs and an umbrella. The room was very clean! Breakfast was delicious! We can’t wait to stay again!
