We took advantage of an off-season special package, staying for 5 nights in a 1-bedroom suite right on the beach. It was a wonderful experience. Although temps were chilly - early spring - the days were sunny and crystal clear, the suite was always warm, and the ocean was a gift to our senses. There was a small population walking the beach, but nothing like the crowding of the summer season up in this area of southern Maine. The staff is friendly and helpful. The apartment is cheerfully decorated. The tiny kitchen unit had the few basics that we needed. Breakfast was provided and available to carry out to our apartment. I'm sure we will return.
We took a last minute trip to see family who live in Old Orchard due to the pandemic decide to stay elsewhere for our weekend. Everyone at Allouette was so friendly and welcoming, we were very impressed with the clean room and the front row view of the ocean!! The bed was very comfortable and space was very well set up. Since it was off season we could hear the waves and wake up to see the sunrise, however, I'm sure during the summer it would be very noisy as most places can be at night and early in the morning. Breakfast was super delicious and exceeded our expectations of a complimentary breakfast! Overall great stay!
I’m a Travel Nurse from Nj and I must say Fred was wonderful and kind. So many places rejected my request for housing I couldn’t find a place to stay for work and yet In his busiest months Fred extended his hospitality and made sure he saved me a room. I am blessed that I found arrangements until June from my job. But no one compares to this mans kindness and open heart. Thank you Fred. And if all Mainers are as kindred as you I’m going to love Maine!!! #anurseneverforgets❤ufe0f
Reserved the wrong room on their website (we wanted beach front) and they accommodated us by switching rooms with no problems at all. Service was excellent and everyone seemed happy to see us.
It was serenity at the shore. This was our second stay within roughly a 5 week period and it is going to be a regular part of our lives. I can not say enough about the staff, the site, the view and the cafe!! Kudos!! Thanks Jessica for all your help and kindness!!
