Biarritz Motel & Suites

We arrived for check in and paid for 2 adults and 2 kids. We grabbed a friends couple kids to give them couple time and kept them overnight. This couple was supposed to take their kids and our two kids the next night. Management on site came up the morning after check in with a horrible attitude, accusing us of not booking properly. He said that we needed to pay him additional money, and when we asked if we would be getting money returned because it was going to be just myself and my husband the next night he flatly said no. Our stay was supposed to be 3 nights, we left less then 24 hours after check in. He told my husband he was watching me on the security cameras. The location of this hotel is literally 30 ft next to active train tracks and the entire hotel shook when the trains came by in the middle of the night. The pool isn’t even open and won’t be opening. The blankets were like plastic and barely big enough to cover the bed top. We weren’t given bath towels, only hand towels. Owner was confrontational and rude and when we expressed concerns over what he was saying he got defensive. I’m sorry, I went on vacation to enjoy myself, not to be watched by a creeper old dumpy motel owner. We paid $500 for three nights and left less then 24 hours after check in. He refused to give us a refund on the remaining 2 nights. Wasn’t worth it. Will never rent here again.

Love this family oriented vacation spot..great service with June and Ron..very clean..the pool is crystal clear always...close to beach..short walk to the pier..We have been staying there for close to ten years and wouldn't have it any other way

Biarritz is amazing. It's a family owned and operated business but a great local family. The rooms are very nice, incredibly clean, stylish, and like nothing else in OOB. The owner June is always around somewhere and sure to make your visit absolutely amazing. They have a huge fenced in pool area with a jacuzzi. There's even rooms with jacuzzi in them. (Perfect for a special occasion or anniversary) The motel is 1 minute from the beach and a ten minute walk to the square and the rides. I highly recommend staying at Biarritz

This was our third time with our son (now three years old) we look forward to going back every summer. This year we were having such a great time we inquired about staying one more night and the owners were more than accommodating. Ron and June are such wonderful people. Their establishment is always neat and clean. We could not have had a better vacation! We would recommend this place to anyone!

It's pretty cute here. All the hotels in oob are a little dated but this ones pretty well updated comparatively. Staff was awesome and they let you smoke outside! Some rooms have hot tubs
