We have continuously gone to the Carolina for several years now and have always had a wonderful time however last year was the most fun we've had in a very long time. Even with the fears of covid-19 Eric the general manager and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They made sure to get involved with patrons and children it was a wonderful experience and for that reason we booked ahead and instead of staying one to two days we're staying an entire week. Eric is a wonderful friendly laid-back outgoing funny man and out of every manager that has been there he is top-notch you could not have done a better job at finding a more perfect person to run the establishment than Eric. We know that the rooms are not loaded like all the other hotels there. We understand that it takes money to do those things but to be quite honest we like how it's not all changed at one time and it's slowly being updated. It gives it that old Carolina feel I wish there was air conditioners at times. And a little bit bigger refrigerators 4 those of us who stay longer than a day or two but I think the Carolina is the best place to stay ever and I would never dream of staying anywhere else especially with someone as wonderful as Eric running it.
Eric, the hotel manager was exceptional. He was considerate and accommodating. Every guest loved him. The guests were amazingly friendly and regulars. Everyone was treated like family. Right on the beach, yet having a pool was refreshing, not too mention having an amazing pizza/bar attached with live music and a sand floor patio was top notch!!nRooms were a little outdated, new beds would be nice, however, great for beach days, No AC in rooms, great ocean breeze and Eric accommodated us with box fans. TV is an older box TV, however not enough time to watch it, spent our time in the beach!nOh and we rebooked for next year before we left, and will be staying longer!!!
The staff went way above and beyond, super friendly and very accommodating!!! Eric (my new bff) is the best and is so easy going, thanks so much for your amazing hospitality!!!!! The beach was so close and beautiful!!!! We will definitely be back to visit!!!!
The rooms are efficient and cute, and the manager is incredibly accommodating! So sweet and kind, would recommend coming here solely based on the wonderful customer service! ud83dudc99nnAnd the beautiful wood doors; I adore them ☺ufe0f
Excellent service, excellent people. Location is perfect if you want to be close to the beach! Food and drinks right next door, walking distance from the pier! I’ll be returning to the Carolina no doubt!
