We stayed 4 nights at The Primrose and we were so impressed with the beautiful facility and friendly staff. Brandon the Inn keeper was so helpful with information on where to go and what to see. Gabby and Veronica the chefs created gourmet breakfasts for us, best we had on all of our trip. Jane and Katrina gave us awesome hiking ideas and fun places to visit. We would stay here again if we return to Bar Harbor. The Inn is impeccably clean and wonderful location.

The Primrose was incredible! We stayed for only 2 days, but would've stayed much longer if our trip allowed. The room was very clean, the breakfast was outstanding each day, the location was within walking distance of everything and just a short drive to the National Park. On top of this, the customer service was excellent! One night it was raining, and they let us borrow their own personal umbrella. Top notch. We will be back!

Loved our stay at The Primrose. Brendan + team are doing an excellent job at curating a hospitable atmosphere. Breakfasts were delicious every day. Rooms were clean and all new (renovated in early 2020). Most importantly, the Inn was a shirt walk to downtown Bar Harbor, making it super convenient to leave the car behind and not have to worry about parking. Will definitely be back!

The Primrose is a cozily restored inn just a short walk from the main hub of Bar Harbor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, clean and exude historic charm with modern convenience. Free parking available onsite. Don't miss the homemade warm breakfast and afternoon snack with coffee/tea.

We stayed at the Primrose in for our elopement. We couldn’t have been happier!nPlanning our elopement was difficult due to COVID however Brandon & the crew (Gabby Veronica, Katrina, Jane & Orlando) were beyond helpful! The accommodations were extremely clean and comfortable. A different delicious breakfast was always provided with delightful afternoon tea and treat. The inn was in a perfect location, walking distance from everything. We would highly recommend The Primrose Inn!
