My family and I have a tradition of touring parts of Maine every August. When we stopped here on our first year, it was very good. The food at breakfast is delicious, and the pool and hot tub are very nice and relaxing. This is a place that we returned to for the last few years, and they’ve never disappointed my family and I. The staff was very helpful when we needed room service. Our experiences with this place were never bad. I Would highly recommend.
Checkin was efficient and timely. The resort was clean, room was large, and outdoor areas (pool, gardens, Tiki Bar) were well maintained and beautiful. Service was friendly and efficient. Rooms and hallways are a little dated, but well maintained and clean
Wifi is THE WORST! Definitely don't come here expecting to be able to do any work. The wifi constantly cuts in and out. The hotel is nice though. Service in restaurant is sub par so don't eat there expecting to get in and out.
Nice place, clean rooms, a little more soundproofing would go a long way towards better nights sleep
First, the lobby is the only fancy thing about this place, don’t judge a book by its cover. The WiFi is terrible. You literally are better off using cellular data on the sand bar at low tide. Next is the room service. We had to call three times in one day because they didn’t get it right the first time. Third, the pool isn’t sanitary. I keep getting getting strands of hair on my fingers. Also the pool is made out of cement! It felt like sand paper. Anyway I had a good look of the ocean from the balcony.
