This was by far the best thing we did on our vacation and definitely recommend this to anyone looking to visit Acadia National Park in a fun, exciting and adventurous way! Jonathan was nothing but helpful and professional assisting us with the best choice spots to stop, map review and bike tutorial. Also, comparing rental pricing elsewhere, they are very reasonable and this really is a must do for anybody looking to have a great time!!nnThanks Jonathan, we’ll definitely be back!

John, the manager, was very reasonable! When we found out we couldn’t take the tandem on the carriage roads, he offered to let us take single bikes at the same rate! When my girl friend didn’t feel comfortable handling the single bike, he let us switch back to the tandem. Since nobody else had reservations for the tandem, he let us take it out for the whole day at the half day rate. He gave us a map for free so we could find our way around the park! Also, the metered parking by the shop will only let you park for four hours so I left some quarters with him and he offered to feed the meter for us until we came back.nnOverall, this was a great experience!! I recommend the tandem because it’s a relationship builder and you have someone to talk to the whole time. It takes lots of coordination and teamwork!nnHighly recommended experiencing Acadia on a bike!

I can not remember having so much fun! If I come back this is the first activity I do! Being on a bike is so much better than driving the park- I felt like a kid again! I have a back injury would not allow me to do a regular bike this was a huge blessing.You may need the whole day rental! Do the carriage trails and bring your wallet to get food at Jordan pond! Wonderful bikes- wonderful service- can not say enough good things about this shop!

We had an amazing experience here with Jonathan. We were a group of 6 that made a reservation for Saturday afternoon for 6 e-bikes rentals. Due to the rainy weather that day, Jonathan was very accommodating with us and gave us multie options to move our reservation or give us a full refund. Since we were leaving Monday 10am, Jonathan actually went out of his way to offer us the rental for Monday morning at 6am (3 hours before his shop even opens) so we could experience the bike ride around park loop before we left. He also gave us a map with notations of the best views and places we should check out. All in all, we were very impressed by his friendliness and attention to customer service.

Judging by all the negative reviews, it seems that these customers can't all have similar bad experiences and complaints. I am therefore staying away from this place..nnIf the review is a negative one, you should, in the future, respond to each negative one so that other potential customers seeing the negative review may see your response so that they may be able to judge for themselves.
