It was a nice getaway from Portland. No city life on here was just perfect. The restaurant was spectacular. The chef was doing everything perfectly. There was a little lawn that was fun to lie down in and some corn hole toss to pass the time. There was a magnificent sunset over the water. Overall, it was just one of the best experiences of the summer.
The second two stars come from how well my bms formed while I was a guest at this FleaBag Inn. The other two stars went away after my “brown water” broke after your seafood tower of doom. I’m lucky I’m alive. My girlfriend wasn’t so lucky. She had to leave because her fingers smelled of “dead mice” after intimacy.
This place is beautiful! We anchored in the bay and came ashore for drinks. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My G&T was perfect!
Great hotel and great experiencenA few things to know before you gon1. Rooms do not have air conditioningn2. It is on an island so its gonna take you about an hour on top of whatever you have driven to get theren3. Some rooms do not have private bathroomsnIf you are ok with this, you will have a great time. The island and inn is super friendly and the views from the ocean rooms are amazing. The grounds are well kept and there is a private beach bicycles etc. It is overall a great experience you will not find elsewhere.
Although the inn has cozy rooms and beautiful views, there were a couple of red flags that potential guests should know about. We stayed here for a night and were incredibly disappointed in the terrible food and outrageous prices.nnBeautiful property but I don't think we'd ever return.
