As ALWAYS our stay was a very pleasant experience. This will be the ONLY hotel we will stay at while in Tuscaloosa. The hotel always clean and the staff always friendly and helpful.
Newly open hotel, very nice and clean. Friendly staff. Great location near the River Walk. Go take a walk along the Black Warrior river.and see Minerva.
My family stayed at this establishment for a weekend getaway to visit other family members. We had a total of 3 rooms. We looked up reviews and location to ensure a safe environment since we have small children as well. Our cars were broken into that night. NONE of the guest were alerted. We woke up the next morning to police outside and had to tell people to go check their cars. The hotel did not inform anybody that night when it happened. I will admit they acted as though they were concerned and really wanted to assist us. So I kept calm & I was told they would pay for the window. We stay hours away. I called and called, it took a MONTH to finally get a call back. The owner told me the insurance would pay. He knew they would not pay it and could not tell me that himself. He had me call them for them to say they were not liable. We asked that just ONE of the 3 rooms nights be free and we would pay for the window. It was insisted they would let the insurance take care of it. The actual hotel was nice, but I really did not appreciate how this situation was handled. I will be sure to share my experience with all I can. And definitely will not stay here again.
Loved staying here. Cathy went out of her way to help me and my husband. This will be my hotel of choice whenever I'm in Tuscaloosa.
