First of all, I made a reservation on OYO. Couldn't find the hotel because I didn't know it was called Phenix Inn. When I finally found it, the person at check in was extremely rude. There was no ice bucket or cups in the room. Figured out it wasn't needed because none of the ice machines work. Beds were comfortable tho. Lots of noise from surrounding rooms.
Used to be the place to go for a night away. It's gone downhill. I would compare the quality of the room to the Bamboo except the furniture was more up to date. Saw a roach. But it was not as bad as some places I've stayed.
Room was spacious and looked clean there was 3 months worth of trash under the bed. I had no trash can no ashtray it was just sad. Only one light worked in the room no phone in the room. I would not recommend or ever do a return visit no cups no ice bucket
Good owners and staff. No bugs or filth and the rooms are nice. Smoking and non smoking. They moved locations so don't use the GPS for navigation. Its right beside the holiday Inn express
This place was trippy! The name online is OYO Hotels so I spent almost 30 minutes trying to find that name instead of the name Phenix Inn and Suites.nThis hotel used to be an old Red Roof Inn. It is now also a club!nMy room had no working lights and I had to go to the front desk three times before someone came and fixed it.nI'm hoping that their service gets better. They were just reopening according to the workers.
