Mountain Creek Cabins

This cabin in the woods next to fast flowing mountain stream was a Great place to stay! It was so close to Cooper's Rock State Forest which has awesome trails (if you like large boulders with moss, lichens, etc. Would be great to see it when azaleas blossom at Cooper's Rock! Very comfortable cabin! The hot tub was fun and covered grill area was nice for rainy times. Good place to go with family who can each stay separate.

This place was perfect. There is 1 challenge that can’t be helped because of location. The hot water system is an on demand system. In short, trying to get a shower with a constant temp is impossible. Rather than spend eternity trying to get a steady temp on the shower just run a HOT bath then let the temp cool to tolerable temperatures. Other than that this facility is truth in advertising. A beautiful cabin with an exquisitely maintained hot tub on a stunning mountain with a picturesque view of a mountain creek. A return visit is a must.

Perfect getaway for me and the kids. We all loved the cozy cabin and especially the hot tub. The snow was beautiful and we turned a hiking trail into a sledding luge. The kitchen is incredibly stocked. Pizza delivery right to the cabin was nice. Owners helpful and pleasant. We'll definitely come back!

Definitely a quiet low stress getaway in the mountains. My wife and I had the time of our life’s as we both were just looking for quiet time together where we could enjoy the beautiful and clean mountain air and surrounding. The cabin was clean, cozy and relaxing. It met all our expectations. We look forward to returning, glad to have a comfortable and safe place to go for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. The creek and Jaccuzi are main attractions. Plenty of information about local amenities is provided in the cabin.

My Family and I had a wonderful time at Mountain Creek Cabins this past weekend. We stayed 3 nights in the Shawnee Cabin. The hot tub on the covered back deck was great! It was very clean and was already turned on and hot when we arrived. Cabin was fully equipped with everything you will need. Coffee pot, dishwasher, microwave, electric stove/oven, full size fridge and all the tableware, plates, and cups you would need. Paper products were there which included toilet paper and paper towels. 4 bath towels, 4 wash clothes, 6 pillows and clean/fresh linens also. WiFi worked good. I had to walk toward the road to make phone calls with Verizon, but I knew that going in. You are very remote in these cabins which was exactly what we were looking for. We purchased their cut firewood which is located in a small wood shed further down the hill in front of a few other cabins. Each small bundle was $5. You just put the cash in the mailbox on the side of the wood shed or the note on the fridge said you could leave the cash in your cabin upon leaving also. There is also a great 24 hour laundry area further down the hill at the end of the property. Looked like brand new washers and dryers, but we did not need to use machines this weekend. There isn't an office to check into or out at. The owners will send you the key code via email to get in which was great! There is a binder of information in the cabin which contained the owners contact info if needed. We did not have any issues at all! Everything worked great and we have absolutely no complaints at all. We would definitely stay here again. Maybe even try out a few of the other cabins. My kids already eyed up the Cougar Cabin for next time. The owners also gave a generous military discount which was very much appreciated! Overall, we highly recommend Mountain Creek Cabins!!
