Back to Basics B&B was a charming place to stay. We were on a 5 week driving trip to CA last spring, and this B&B was a highlight. Tessa was so friendly, the room was pleasant, and breakfast was delicious!

We had the pleasure of staying at this BnB one night. We booked the “Be still and Know” room which had a queen bed. To our surprise we were the only ones staying at the BnB that night so it was nice to have the place to ourselves. All pictures were representative of the actual accommodations. Tessa, the owner, couldn’t have been lovelier. She was very helpful, easy to communicate with, and makes a darn good breakfast burrito (breakfast included in room rate). She was taking precautions for the COVID-19 which put us at ease for staying there while we explored nearby Caprock Canyon state park. Would recommend and would stay again!!

What a wonderful and quiet experience we had staying at Back to Basics BnB. Thanks for the lovely breakfast and company Tessa (owner) during breakfast we really enjoyed the conversation.
