I have stopped here for several times over the year. Have business all over in the Houston with the company I work for. After driving and working 12 to 14 hours in Houston, perfect place to rest, sleep, and start back to San Antonio. Plus, I'm already out of Houston rush hour traffic. Older hotel, but clean, great staff, and reasonably priced.
The old fat lady that worked the night shift was rude and was super slow in checking me into my room. She refused to give me clean towels and said that wasn't her job
Nothing above and beyond. I guess it was a decent bang for the buck. Since they can't offer breakfast amenities in the morning, due to covid, they should adapt those resources to something covid-safe that offers a nice morning service. Maybe some individually wrapped breakfast bars and a temporary barista? Oh well...
Wasn't told about not having hot water till after check-in, staff was courteous, blame covid for not having food or drink at breakfast. Hallways smelled, lacks quality housekeeping. Not what I'd expect from a Wyndham chain.
