I recently visited the house; the pictures do not capture its grand scale; enormous rooms (15 ft ceilings), floor-ceiling windows, and shading on all sides; very well maintained and decorated in period styling; the house is an experience in itself; the hosts are wonderful people. Woodville is the county seat of Tyler County, and is central to many east Texas natural attractions; lakes and woodlands. Very quiet; in a safe locale; and numerous local amenities.
It is awesome!!!! Very clean. The owner was great!! The most comfortable bed I've ever sleep in!!!
Ms. Ruth is the best. This is the only place I want to stay when I come to town for work. Up to date amenities with that classic southern charm. You just won't regret the stay!
We stayed two nights along with another couple and a friend. (3-rooms) This is a lovely house, and the rooms and all were clean and comfortable. The owner - manager Ruth took very good care of us and is a great hostess. I would recommend Village Street B&B to any friend.
