Candle wood Suites is nice. Clean rooms, friendly people and, best of all, dog friendly.nBut the elevator feels like eh seventh level of hell. Plus if you push the button and it’s already on your floor you need to go play the lotto because you just got a 1:10000000 shot.

We were visiting Buda, TX for a friend's birthday party, when we were about to get ready for it, the hotel lights went out. We called the front desk about it, they said they were working on it. It was frustrating to call a friend who called a friend to let us get ready at their home, well, more embarrassing than anything. We got this hotel because it is 3 minutes away from our destination but we ended up driving 20 minutes away from it to take care of our stuff. Then the next morning we tried to make coffee before leaving, there was no coffee pot, nor cups I'm not sure if we supposed to bring all of that on our own. Other than that, the rooms are ok and the beds are comfortable.

Would highly recommend this hotel. The service was first class all the way. Mckinnah was super friendly, and even helped me walk my dog and take him out while I worked nights. Jay the General Manager worked seemed like 16 hours a day to keep up with demand while they were short staffed, and always kept a positive and accommadating attitude. Boo worked the mornings and was very knowledgeable and proficient in her job. Hotel is very nice in a nice little town outside of Austin.

Nice quiet hotel in Buda. Good area and they accept pets. My only reason for the missing star is that there are other nearby places that offer the same accommodations without the carpeted floors. If this area fits your needs you will not be unhappy here. Service was also top notch and always attentive.

Was here for 2 days and 1 night. Didn't get to experience all of the amenities, but from what I encountered it was great. Clean establishment with a friendly and attentive staff. Great location. Free coffee all day!!!
