La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Fort Worth NE Mall

I was very impressed with the cost, quality, and service. I saved about $20 booking with hotels.com. Cristina at the front desk is very friendly and made checking in very easy. I stayed at the hotel two nights but had two different reservations and two different rooms because I wasn't sure how long I'd be in town and was playing it by ear. My sister has a dog and finding a hotel close to my family that was cheap, pet friendly, but comfortable was a challenge at first...but this place is perfect. The man I originally spoke to on the phone described the hotel as VERY pet friendly and it is. My experience with pet friendly hotels is that they're usually on the squalid side but not this one. I was surprised that they allowed pets with as nice and clean as it was and there wasn't even a pet deposit.nThey serve to-go bags for breakfast as per COVID protocol, however they seemed to have struck a deal and made arrangements for guests to get a hot meal at the hotel across the parking lot with an included meal voucher and the hot breakfast next door is really good. All I can say is that this is considered a two star hotel in Texas but is the equivalent to a 4 star hotel in Mississippi. The rooms are also very clean. I travel often for work and this is one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've stayed in. It seems like they actually clean the room and replace all of the linens... you'd be surprised at how often that happens in the hotel industry. I would probably choose to stay here again. I'd say the only way it could be better is if they served free coffee in the lobby like they do at some other hotels.

Room is fine and clean, but the that there's construction in the area. My only annoyance with the hotel is that they called me a few minutes after getting in the room to see if everything was okay and then they call me like 10 minutes before checkout to remind me to check out. If I knew that was going to happen I would have said please don't call because it was inconvenient at those moments for me.

Very clean and quiet location. Close to mall. Nice front desk personnel. Great price. Jacuzzis and pool were great Christmas Eve!
