Hyatt Place Fort Worth/Hurst

Amazing stay at the hotel. The ambience, staff and food were all fantastic. It made for such a special evening for our two partners' birthdays.

I'm torn on this rating. Part of me wants to give it a 4 but I don't think I can. What impressed me with this hotel was that in spite of it being fully booked, it was SO quiet. We never heard our neighbors aside from an occasional door shutting in the hallway. I don't think I've ever had such a quiet stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and I appreciate that they had covid precautions in place. Our room was a nice size. The cons were that our first room smelled like urine. The 2nd room was better but dated and had some things wrong like the shower head wouldn't stay tilted where we wanted it. And the hot water was unpredictable. It got hot enough but sometimes it took a really long time to get to temperature and then would fluctuate. The beds felt old- springs, no pillow top.nOverall, it's alright for the price and you'll get a quiet nights sleep, but it needs a little upkeep and TLC.

Very clean nice rooms, with mini refrigerator in them. This hotel staff was great. Due to an electrical outage due to storms that brought down a tree on the power line, we needed a last minute place to stay as temperatures were scheduled to be 102° in North Texas that day. So at 6am in the morning we headed over here hoping to find a room. My husband explained our situation which was the electric company would not have power on probably until mid to later afternoon. We knew we would have to check out in about 6 hours but didn't know if the electric would be back on. The very nice gentleman called his manager and not only got us a great rate for basically a two day stay (meaning we didn't have to check out that day but the next day at noon), if we left before the cut off that day they would refund some of our money. The guy was even so sweet as to give us two free drinks on the house!! We were able to leave just 5 hours later as power came back on and we wait an additional hour to let the house cool. They did as promised and refunded some of our money. We got an excellent rate for an emergency situation. It's nice in today's world to find a business that cares in a rough time to help you out instead of taking advantage of your situation. I wish I had gotten that employee's name and the manager because we were extremely impressed on how helpful and kind they were. I definitely recommend this hotel in Hurst!!

Fantastic customer service, especially from Amanda the front desk manager!! She really made me want to come back! Everyone seemed to be following COVID procedures as well, and every area was kept very clean. Room was very comfortable and practical, with all the amenities I’d hoped for! Highly recommend this place!

It was a very short weekend stay but Julie Fisher and her staff were very friendly and accommodating for all our needs. Room was very nice. COVID protocols were in place. Only drawbacks were-no microwave in room. Also, on Sat night,went to take a shower but no hot water in shower. I guess, all those sticking hockey players used it all, lol. Didn’t report this to staff as it was after midnight and just took one in the morning. We feel the air conditioning wasn’t working as well as it should be but with the cold temperatures outside could be a reason. We didn’t stay much in the room so we also didn’t report this. Don’t want the staff blamed for anything. They did an excellent job of putting up with these crazy Cajuns from south Louisiana meeting up with our awesome New York family and coming to watch our nephew play hockey. Definitely will visit this hotel again if in the area.
