Great place for first year students. Right near the met and laundry can be done on first floor of building! The RA's are also very nice and welcoming! I enjoyed my first year there, but I would definitely suggest a 3 room instead of a double if you dont know who you're rooming with!

I lived here for my freshman year at UT Tyler and I think it’s the best place for freshman to be. It’s super close to the met and you are super close to your peers so it’s very easy to make friends. Out of all the places on campus to live it seems to have the best community because everyone there is a kind of scared newcomer eager to make friends. Even if you aren’t looking to make friends you probably will. However it sucks to not have a kitchen and whatnot, the events/people/geographically placement to the campus makes up for that.nnI can’t recommend it to any other years other than freshman unless you are a RA. Its just not a good place to be if you are a upper class man and want more autonomy and privacy.nnMade some great memories here
OHall, as we call it, has the best dorm life. I am gonna go to another housing next year because I will no longer be a freshman but i am going to miss this Hall dearly.
Very nice and affordable dorm at UTT.
