Can't begin to describe how much I liked the Chilton Grand. I was in town for a family reunion, and was looking for something downtown and comfortable. Jerry and Carole really took care of me. After giving me the tour of my quarters and the rest of the massive home, they made several suggestions about things to do in Tyler.nnThis is not your normal B&B, whereas instead of having common areas and a key to your separate bedroom, this massive home seemed to be quartered, with my lower quarter of the home being separate from the common areas. So, for the same price as a normal B&B, I had my own kitchen, living room, office, bathroom, and huge bedroom!nnAs with everything, the experience is what you make of it. I had read some mixed reviews, but I have nothing but good things to say about the Chilton. Air conditioning not cool enough? Turn the A/C down. Don't like all the antiques and feeling like you're stepping back in time? Go find a La Quinta.nnThanks to the Glazebrook's for having me! Only sorry I couldn't stay another night. I'll be back!
