It is VERY apparent they have feuds with neighboring properties. It’s petty and has cemented that we won’t stay there in the future. We have family and friends who split visits between the RV park and River Bluff. We’ll make sure they know how petty the Clearwater owners are. Be careful not to walk on their driveway if you exit the river! Bored woman in a van will swoop in like a vulture. She wants you to exit on a busy roadway with your children to make it back to your cabin. That, or she doesn’t understand that rivers flow one way and you can’t just make your way back to your starting point. Either way, highly unpleasant and will never earn our businesses in the future, and we’ll make sure our regular family and friends know. Just stay at the neighboring properties to begin with, they have all the fun stuff anyway!

Wonderful stay. Private river access near our cabin. Comfortable beds and accommodations. We will return and recommend to friends and family.

First off the cabins are NOT bare bones. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware plates and basic silverware. The bed has a comforter and you supply the rest of the bedding g and towels. Our cabin was clean and things worked, including the coffeepot and toaster. One burner on the stove burnt out while we were there and it was fixed that day. The only reason for four stars was lack of Internet. As star gazers our equipment is increasingly dependent on WiFi and it would have been great to have access. Maybe next year...

Not top of the line but a great place nonetheless. Slower atmosphere than most of the cabins and RV sites around. Owner and his wife are great people. He was kind enough to drive down to Uvalde and bough me a longer sewage hose when we found mine was too short. Will definitely be back

We Go there quite often ,,,, really nice owners and and the local town is so friendly to visitors ,,,, Beautiful all around ,,,,
