We had a great stay in a newly renovated room on the first floor. It was clean and comfortable, and a great value. Breakfast in the morning, too. The kids loved making their own Texas shaped waffles!
Not good if you have a trailer. Parking is very difficult if you have a larger rig. We usually don't have any trouble at Best Westerns but the parking is very weird here.nnStaff was nice and room was clean but one of the back doors was broken. Also, the pool really needs to be cleaned. It's closed but still need to be maintained in the winter months. It was really bad!
We stayed here about a month ago for a high school playoff game. Breakfast area was closed due to COVID, but coffee was available and we were given lunch sacks with packaged danish and granola bars. They were not put off at all by our 83lb. Lab Mix. It looked like they had remodeled recently. Everything was neat and clean. Front desk people were friendly. Would definitely stay again!
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. Comfortable, clean, beautifully appointed. A pleasant end to a long day in the car.
To disturbing to post pictures...I've stayed at this hotel a few times while visiting my son at Navarro College. I checked in on Friday April 2, 2021 around 12:45/ 1:00 am. I stayed in room 323. After about an hour of getting settled and ready for bed, turned down my bed to find bloody sheets. The bed was made perfectly so whoever made the bed had to have seen the fresh blood stains. The gentleman on staff came up to change the bedding but I couldn't sleep wondering what else hadn't been cleaned. The next day I left a message for the owner/manager to call me (no call) and the girl at the front desk seemed bothered that I asked for the bed and room to be sanitized for my last night stay. The guy that helped me the previous night stated that the sheets had not been washed, they weren't stains that had been washed and had they had been they are suppose to check for stains before they make the beds. Covid is not an excuse for poor customer service...even when I asked for a grab and go at 10:00 am they stayed I missed the time frame so no breakfast or a comp for a night.
