Great customer service from the time I called till when I got there. The roads can use some repair but overall a great facility. My wife and I caught our limit on trout. The exchange and commissary are nearby. HEB is a few clicks away with a great selection of meat to grill.

We had a great Easter weekend there! Very relaxing! Slots are a good ways apart from eachother, but the roads in the park are full of pot holes!

Nice military campground. Spaces are pretty level, and of course reasonably priced. Only problem is the pool was closed during my stay.

Not the best place but it is a fairly nice park, we are in section A.nPros: free laundry, really nice adjacent dog park, level sites, good water pressure, close to commissary/NEXnCons: Thorns in the grass, dogs could not walk on any grassy areas except in the dog park. Dog waste bins overfilled with waste. Very Windy, however we kind of liked the warm wind. Small concrete pad. Lots of restrictive rules, for example NOTHING allowed off of the concrete pad including chairs, bikes, grills, etc.nnWe solved the thorn issue with doggy booties. Our dog doesn’t appear to be bothered by the booties (see pic ud83dude0a). The dog park is exceptional with really good natural turf. We arrived right after the big winter freeze and the dog park had no water for the pups, public works is working to fix it.

I'm in the South part of the camp during the covid stuff. Pull through sites are great. I have a 42' long 5th wheel & hate backing it up. Level sites with a free laundry room. I don't use it because I have a washer in my camper. The only pot hole road is in the Northern side of section B. If you plan on staying a while I'd try to avoid that area. I would have given a 5 star review but I am a guy that likes to snorkel & good beaches. Not a good place to camp if you like those things too. Try eating at the Landing in Lagunna shores ( a 7 mile bike ride) they have great Cuban sandwiches & a guitar guy during the days. Real casual place that is a great place for a margarita & to read a news paper.
