La Coste Village Manufactured Home Community

Just wanted to drop a quick line to say that Angela and Samantha are doing a great job!! We had an issue and they handled it very professionally and it’s most appreciated. We are very happy here at La Coste Village and it’s because of their great effort!

Angela was very friendly when meeting her! She was knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I had a very pleasant experience with her. HIGHLY recommend!

Rented with LaCoste Village and worse mistake I have ever done!!nDon’t waste your money find somewhere else that is in the same price range but 10 times nicer. The website says affordable housing but we were paying $1,000+ for a mobile home with mold and water leaks and a community that looks like a junk yard. Even if you are paying $1,000+ for rent your lot space will continue to go up every year so your rent will continue to go up. The community has gone down hill after Samantha and Angela taken over. They are very bad at management and don’t care about the residents needs nor does HR.nBeware because Angela and her husband Justin are renting out houses in the neighborhood and you don’t want to deal with them!!!

Lived here for years and loved it. The rent does go up every year like everywhere else but samantha was always helpful with everything.

The Review Erika Mendez is Angela’s Sisters-in-law.nProbably the worst place that I have ever rented from. Please save your money and go else where. We lived in the mobile home (lot 9) for 3 years and within those three years nothing was fixed. We have told Samantha Rard and Angela Hill our issues in the trailer but they never fixed anything. Rent constantly went up so I would figure with the amount of rent we were paying they would be on top of our problems and fix them. They sent a guy to look at the leveling of our trailer when we spoke with him he said that our leveling was very bad and that is why we are having water leaks. He also said that there was previous water damage that was painted over. He never returned to fix the leveling. Be cautious before you rent because they will paint over previous damage to make it look presentable and then it’ll show later on. With the water leaks that we have had that created soft spots in the wall which I was able to see mold inside the wall. I also had service dogs that I have had since we moved in I turned in all their paperwork before move in. 2 years later I get a call from Angela stating I have to get rid of my dogs. We had a long discussion about how she can’t make me get rid of my dogs because they all had their papers. I also told Samantha how I turned in their paperwork before we moved in and she told me she lost them. With the whole argument we had they eventually let me keep them but after that it was constant harassment. I got a text from Angela stating that my dog was out and that I needed to go and get her or I’ll get written up. The thing is me and my dogs were at home at the time and I sent her a picture of them. Justin told his wife Angela that my dog tried killing their cat. I knew that was a lie because I went walking around the neighborhood to get my dog. I went into the office to speak with Samantha about what happened and she said she had the video of the incident. When I watched the video it was only sound of Justin talking. Couldn’t see anything on the video. It was constant lies being told just to try to kick us out. We also got written up for a vehicle that was parked on our driveway. Which there has been multiple broken down cars in the neighborhood since we moved in. It was just constant write ups after write ups with the whole incident with my dogs. Angela and Samantha like to pick and choose what rules they like to follow in the lease and then get mad about something small but other people in the neighborhood live like a junkyard.nI think a big reason for our stuff not getting fixed is because Samantha and Angela are sister in-laws that work together. Living there we had 2 maintenance men. The first one I spoke with he stated there was an incident that happened spoke to higher up about it and he said they really didn’t care much about his concerns and pretty much forced him to quit. Then a few weeks go by and then a new maintenance man comes in and it’s Angela’s brother. He didn’t last long and after that we never got a new maintenance man. This company is a joke and I don’t think family should be working together for this reason. $1,000+ to rent a home that wasn’t even livable! Tried calling HR and higher up multiple times but never answers and never no call back. So good luck trying to get in contact with higher up because it’s hard. I did get in contact with them once but nothing changed. Please do not rent from Samantha, Angela or her husband Justin. And beware because Angela and her husband Justin have been renting out houses in the neighborhood. If you rent from them you will not get any of your problems fixed and your rent will continue to go up. You can find beautiful houses to rent from for what we were paying there. Find a house that you won’t have to worry about mold or water leaks or any other issues. Check surrounding areas like Castroville or Lytle for things to rent I promise you’ll save money and live a happier life.nThat was only a fraction of our problems in those 3 years.nnFIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO!
