Newly remodeled. Very nice and clean. Up to date. The things I didn’t like was housekeeping talking very loud to each other while cleaning other rooms around us. And I didn’t like feeling as tho I was being rush out of my room. I stay in many Choice Hotels and I know ahead of time when check is. This particular one checkout is at 11am I didn’t ask to receive a call. I will stay again when Im in town but I will make it Very clear I don’t want to be bothered. I always book my rooms through the Choice Hotel app and when I arrived to check in I was told it was an extra 40 dollar deposit. No problem with paying it but it should have been stated when I booked. I absolutely don’t like being quoted one price at booking then being told something else after I’ve booked. I’ve not had this happen before at any of the Choice Hotel I’ve booked at. On the plus side the beds were comfortable.

This hotel is newly remodeled. The staff (Lisa, Deanna, Trina, Grace & Sam) is extremely friendly and will do their best to help you. The hotel is quiet (no loud noises after about 10 pm) and the beds super comfy. If you need suggestions on restaurants or things to do in the area just ask. This hotel does have breakfast in the mornings, a business center, out door pool and a gym. If your one need a smoking room they do still have a limited number. However, they are all located in the same wing and they are upstairs ONLY. And there is no elevator. They have parking for large trucks and/or trailer, but only about 6. This hotel is NOT pet friendly, and FYI there is a large fine for anyone trying to sneak pets in. And someone is available at the counter 24/7. They are a respectable place. I wish more hotels were like this.

I deliver food, and the woman at the front desk called the police on me for doing my job. I'm required to bring the food to the customer. And the Karen at the front desk called the police on me for doing my job. I'm emotionally distraught over this. I hope she gets what she deserves. I'll be contacting the owner to let him know what happened. This hurt me beyond belief. No one has ever called the police on me till now.

What a sweet retreat on our road trip journey! Texas really is charming, and this hotel had the nicest staff. The room was gorgeous, clean and safe.

Recently updated in the rooms. Very nice set up and no carpet on the floor in the room, which I like. Super friendly front desk staff. Well worth the money
