Makeup For Real (03/01/2021)

Nice bed. I enjoyed the white very plump and fluffy bed. Nice high-rise views.. nice decor throughout the hotel.. My issue is the breakfast bar was little to no choice of food. No eggs, meat just a bunch of condiments. I asked the lady why not refill breakfast she ignored me and continued to put out a bunch of breads. Also found bug walking after we ate.

It was roughly 80$ a night and I felt this was a really good deal!nnI didn’t realize check in was at 3 pm, so I came at noon and there were no rooms ready. Was told it’s $10 for early check in, which I find super reasonable. Once I was able to check in, they weren’t able to give me my room w lake view, so they upgraded me to deluxe room and partial view. I was fine with that, such a beautiful view of lake!nnAntonio was such an awesome employee there! He checked me in and made it such a pleasant experience. I told him I maybe getting in really late and he said, I’ll go ahead and have you for late check out at 1 pm. I thought that was such a nice touch.nnThe property itself is dated but it has all the important things in room; refrigerator, clean bed, sitting area and a self serve breakfast w Biscuits, bagles, juice etc. no eggs or bacon but I was just glad I didn’t get a bag w bread and milk like many hotels are serving. The hotel definitely needs an upgrade but for the price I felt it was a good exchange!

Quality Hyatt property. Views from the room on the lake side are nice, and there is ample outdoor space to relax by the waterfront... even a long pedestrian bridge going over the water. Hotel staff was great, and the interior has been pretty well kept.nnI stay at this property regularly for business, and will continue to do so when in the Houston area.

Great Hyatt location. Outdoor areas here are amazing. We got a room with view to the lake. Pretty good. Sadly, they room layout is the old style: small bathroom, no microwave. Either case, the location is great. Many things to do around and plenty restaurants in the vecinity to try. I look forward to be back again for a relaxing weekend around Sugar Land.

If you are used to motel 8 you are probably fine. But we stayed a week and not once did they clean our room and even when we asked they didn't. We had no toilet paper and towels up to the ceiling and had to continue to go to get towels, also they were dirty and had to go get more. The air conditioning only worked during the day. At night it was 5-10 degrees above what we had it set at. Probably should have left and went somewhere else but kind of late to be looking. The room was decently clean when we first got here. And for the most part staff was nice. Breakfast is better at McDonalds... ud83dude0f
