Lodge #5… beautiful scenery outside, beautiful accommodations upstairs in the great room, dungeon-like accommodation downstairs. Warning: request a thorough walk-thru upon check in and again upon check out if you want to receive your cleaning deposit back. The owner does NOT mean for you to leave the place as you found it. She clearly means for you to clean up after the guests before you.nShe claimed to have found trash downstairs which did not belong to us. A crushed turquoise colored can when the only can drink taken downstairs was Mountain Dew, a glow stick which we did not even have, and colored ponytail holders. The only people that stayed overnight in the entire lodge over the weekend stayed downstairs - ages 16, 19, 21, 26, and 50, and we do not use colored ponytail holders.nAt least six people swept the upstairs great room and kitchen from Saturday night to Sunday. At least seven people can attest that the upstairs great room was mopped on Sunday. And at least five people, including a lodge employee, can attest that I mopped myself out of the kitchen. However, she claimed there was a footprint near one of the upstairs bathrooms. Out of the five people that stayed overnight, only three showered in the largest shower upstairs. I’m not sure where she found the long black hair in a shower drain, but out of the three people that showered, neither of them have long black hair. The oven was completely crusted over and so nasty that it stunk severely. We didn’t even want to use it just to keep food warm. She said that the outside grill was dirty with trash in it. We never even opened the grill to use it since the local family living in Wynnewood cooked the food at their own house and brought it to the lodge. After explaining all this, she wasn’t even willing to refund half of the deposit. Not only did we pay almost $1800 in lodge rental fee, pet fee, plus deposit, we brought in almost $600 additional dollars to the business for the family that rented a cabin and two motel rooms. It is my understanding that the lodges are for sale. If business is slow due to covid, that is no reason to cheat your guests. This is not the only negative review regarding deposits. Again, request a thorough walk-thru upon check in and again upon check out if you want to receive your cleaning deposit back, and even then, be prepared to fight for it. Good luck!

My son and now my daughter in law rented this facility on March 27th and 28th for their wedding. While looking over the venue prior to renting it they noted that the lower floor was not swept or mopped, and that there was some trash about it. The manager stated that would all be taken care of. Upon their arrival they noted that the bottom floor was still dirty, however with all the rental companies coming and setting up for the wedding, they did not call the manager to set it straight. So they just made sure they did not make any more mess downstairs, and just left everything like it was. The wedding party itself was all on the top floor and outside, with no other guests going downstairs. We, as I was there to help set up and break down the decorations, swept and mopped the top floor and put all the furniture back as it was when we got there.nToday, April 1st, they contacted my daughter in law saying that they were keeping the deposit as we had left it in need of cleaning. They stated the grill was unclean, it needed swept and mopped and that there was trash about the facility. None of the grills were used by us as family in the area cooked all the food at their houses and brought it to the wedding. As for the not sweeping or mopping, while we where doing that one of the grounds keepers (older gentlemen carring a .40 cal pistol on his hip) saw us doing it.nThe long and short of it is they are trying to sell their properties and in my opinion are trying to squeeze ever last dime out of the lodges before they sell it. Do not rent any from them, or if you do, make sure they are available to do a walk thru with you prior to having them give you the keys.

The cabins were perfect and minutes from so many different attractions including turner falls park. The office personnel were extremely helpful answering questions and even allowed us to use one of the lodges ponds to fish from. The cabin was spacious, and fit my family of 5 comfortably. You definitely get what you pay for and more! I Highly recommend checking them out.

We were able to get a cabin last minute and the lady made it so quick and easy and she was sweet. Our kids loved the animals in the field across from the field. Everything was clean. Minutes from Arbuckle wilderness and Turner falls.

Good value, only issue $50 non refundable fee for no mess is a little much.
