Dream Catcher Resorts - The Point Property

Our boss purchased a two night stay here through an auction and gave it to us girls in the office for a girls trip. When booking I was told that we had to stay for three nights minimum which was not anywhere on the paper work and clearly states on the website that it is a two night minimum not wanting to cause a fuss we went head and paid for the extra night. I spoke to the manager multiple times throughout the week before making sure that we were ready to go and a good time to check in. The day of check in the manager called me multiple times throughout the day to confirm the time we would be there which I found a bit strange and then he didn't even show up for hours after check in time at the house. When we showed up their were workers working on the decking and people were mowing and cleaning up the grounds not a big deal but I feel like this is something that should have been done before we arrived. The door was unlocked so we let ourselves in and unloaded our things when the manager finally showed up he informed us that one of the two boats we had rented was in the shop and that we would only be able to have one. We had way to many people to only have one boat so we requested to just get a refund for both of the boats and we would all just hang out at the docks all weekend. He proceeded to tell us no we had to take the available boat and that we really did not need two because not everyone would want to go out at the same time so we could just take people out in the morning and then switch mid day. We told him that we weren't interested in doing that because we came to spend the weekend together and he said sorry it is already paid for and the one boat will be here in the morning. When the boat arrived we decided to make it work since we were not getting our money back. The boat was a complete disaster had trouble starting, was out of gas and when you went to put it in gear it made a terrible grinding noise but we had already had enough trying to get it figured out and did not want to call the manager to talk to him about it. I highly do not recommend staying at this place. The manager is rude, forgets what he told you, and throughout the whole stay he would just show us at random times and walk around the outside of the house. The grounds are beautiful but really that is the only thing it has going for it.

This was the second time I have had the privilege to stay at one of the greatest vacation spots in Oklahoma. We scheduled this weekend for our daughters sweet 16th birthday party weekend. We stayed at the Grand property for the first time and it was amazing! If you would like to see how it feels to live in total luxury right here in Oklahoma,this is it!!! Twenty friends from Southern Hills Baptist Church in Tulsa spent the weekend at Dream Catcher Point Resort and we LOVED IT!nThe home is beautiful, not to mention the amenities!nWe spent Saturday touring Grand Lake on the boat, jumped on their water trampoline and enjoyed a Jacuzzi later in the evening!nI look forward to returning to Dream Catcher Point and thank you very much, Mr. Gary Kroll, for being the perfect host!
