We have stayed here many times, will again. You need to be aware of your surroundings in Garner, that is not the hotels fault. The town has made some improvements. So yes, the desk staff does keep an eye on who comes & goes. They will sometimes lock the front doors. Safety is fine with me. The staff has always been very accommodating. Short drive into Raleigh. Nice place to stay! Would give y'all 5 stars, always room for improvement.
I stayed over the weekend room was very clean. Very friendly staff I will definitely be coming here again.... Lovely place
I booked a room for my bachelor party which was just going to be me and 2 of my best friends enjoying a quiet time since I am not a big partier. Unfortunately as one of my best friends arrived he was immediately harassed by the front desk ran by Judy. He thought that he could get a cup of coffee before heading to the room since it was still early in the morning. the employee at best Western decided it was an emergency that needed police assistance even though my friend explained that he was just getting a coffee and assured Judy that he wasn’t just coming in to take advantage of free coffee as the employee had believed. Of course my friend was mature enough not to argue and before waiting for the police went home. Don’t rent here unless you want to be treated like a dog. Go somewhere where the staff knows how to treat their patrons. It’s upsetting The whole event was ruined because of one persons callousness in what clearly was not a very blessed day.
Staff was super friendly. When I checked in and went to the room there was items in the room that had been left behind by someone. From what I could tell the light in the bathroom has mold growing in it and the paint on the shower is peeling off. If you want to take a bath be prepared to fill the tub up severial times because the water drains out quick so I showered instead. If I would have noticed it before I slept there I would have more than likely went elsewhere. But the staff there was very nice is the only reason I gave them a 2 star.
Apparently, there is no form of security here, based on the fact that I have now been awakened THREE times by some group of humans who must have been raised outdoors. Hopefully, they hang around long enough for police to disperse them. Not even in the half-star hole-in-the-walls, have I experienced such a lack of respect from a hotel, as to not get a handle on guest relations & comfort. Worst stay ever.
