So far HORRIBLE. ANTS everywhere in my room. All over the work desk, black Ants everywhere.nDog barking earlier, constantly, for what seemed like hours. furniture in the room heavily soiled, floor is dirty like it has never been cleaned. Nothing sanitized, A/C filter filter dirty like it was never cleaned.
What I like most about this location is Aretha. She is one of the front desk employees and she is always nice, respectful and kind. Kindness is free and doesn't take much to do, but unfortunately common courtesy is not very common these days because many places lack good customer service. The other team members should use Aretha's customer service skills as an example because she would be the only reason I'd continue to stay at this location.
Excellent location proximate to all needs. Room was clean and comfortable with exception of pillows being too compressible. Staff very friendly, especially Brooke.
My room was unclean. The inside of the fridge was covered in black mold, there were bugs crawling on the table, the shower floor was grey from dirt, the mirrors had dried liquid running down, the bed skirts had stains, the cloth on the chair was filthy. I have a toddler who touches everything and I was completely horrified considering how dirty the room was especially during covid. It was completely unacceptable. I have stayed in tons of hotels, this was a first.
After an unbelievably horrible month at the Extended Stay America Raleigh/Crabtree, due to being put up there by the company I work for, they finally changed hotels to this La Quinta Inn and WHAT A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE, after just one night. The staff is very friendly, the service is top notch and the rooms are outstanding. This will make a huge difference in the morale of the crew, nmaking the work days much better. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
