Let me begin by saying we love this hotel and only ever stay here when in Raleigh. This review is not about the staff. They are friendly, always willing to help make things right and the bar staff are always the best. The hotel rooms this time though...different story.nThis stay :n1) the smell of pot (still illegal here in NC) was so strong in the hallway in front of our room it almost made us sick. Would have requested a different room but none were available at check-in.n2) we found food left in our refrigerator from a prior guest. It made us wonder what else they scrimped on during the cleaning.nVery disappointing and not a good experience. With room and staff shortages due to our lousy Governor's restrictions, I will wait before staying somewhere other than home again.

We had an unfortunate experience upon the evening of our arrival with a very strong odor of marijuana in the halls, it was overpowering. I hate my kids had to walk through it, even the odor in the stairwells was awful. We were on a No smoking floor... Once inside our room, it wasn't as bad, but that smell makes me very sick and I didn't sleep well at all. It was so late when we arrived and we were all so exhausted, especially my children. I just had to get them settled to sleep, I wasn't going to go through a hassle to try and change rooms at nearly 11pm. Some of our luggage still has a smell to it after that night.

Friendly staff. Very nice and clean. They take really take care of you. Excellent venue for events.

Very nice hotel! Everything was absolutely wonderful until Brandy who works at the front desk was very rude about explaining the pool policy to us because we didnt know you had to reserve the pool. She also put her hand directly in another persons face. Thats so unprofessional and will be speaking with a manager regarding this issue.

Love it. My oldest son ask me if we can live here.lol. A good place to come and relax. Love it. Plus it was very clean.
