Friendly front desk
Room was dirty. Mud scuffs on bedding and walls. Commode didn’t flush properly. Roaches and some other little black bugs were everywhere. Kids running screaming all hours of the night... and I mean at 1am still going strong. Parents nowhere in sight. Ceiling leaking over the bed and we were on bottom floor. Police there on a daily basis. Stayed there long enough to find another hotel and got the H. E. Double hockey sticks out of there.
Customer service wasn’t so great. Front desk kept taking calls and talking to guests as they were walking in while I was trying to check in. I think this took 10 minutes. Then I get to my room and there is someone’s old half eaten plate in the refrigerator! When I called the front desk they didn’t offer me any compensation for this and I had to go downstairs to get my own Lysol wipes to clean my room properly. Turns out this front desk person was the manager the entire time!!!! Horrible service especially being that she was a manager.
This hotel decided to change a policy for extending your stay with out ANY type of notice. This policy directly affects the current guests who have stayed here for 30 days or more. This hotel makes it impossible for you to extend your stay for less than 3 days. So even though the guest has been here for over 30 days if you need to extend your stay but cannot afford to prepay for 3 days at once (as many people are struggling to stay afloat), then you have to check out. This is how Extended Stay America chooses to act in the middle of a pandemic. Totally unethical. NO PRIOR notice was given for this policy change. And no notices are posted at the front desk. I am definitely reporting this to the Attorneys General Office of Consumer Protection.
When hotels post an advertisement for renting one of their rooms they have pictures of their rooms of what you are paying for.Not here. This looks absolutely NOTHING as advertised in which that is false advertising! The FTC needs to really know about this Extended Stay.I am very upset to where I have posted twice Kids running I'll and down the stairs cause all kinds of noise and no parental guidance.I had to look the extended stay up again when I walked in because this looked nothing like what i thought I was paying for.There is a spread on the bed in the picture, no blankets in the room nor the premises just sheets. I did not get ANY rest here.
