Every time I come to Wilmington I always stay here. The staff here is always in a great mood and super personable. If you ask them for something (big or small), they make sure they do all they can to satisfy your needs. The front house manager, Isaac, has a complete understanding of what customer service is all about and he makes sure everyone else working there has those same skills. I’ve never had a bad experience or even a mediocre one and I’ve stayed there about 10 times for a few days at a time. Rooms are very clean, pool is very nice, easy drive to the beach, nice restaurants close by, walking distance to a store if you forgot anything. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Hilton team for making my experience there a great one every time.
The staff was extremely helpful upon checking in and providing information about dining and sites to explore. I could go on and on about the front desk staff, but I would write an entire entry about their kindness and professionalism. Entering the building it was clean and welcoming. I would recommend staying here because of the professionalism of the staff, cleanliness and safety. If you have the opportunity to interact with Anna, Anke or Isaac you will understand. I would definitely stay again!
Location is nice. Close to beach shopping and restaurants. Dated rooms with older furnishings. Both light sconces in my room were heavily covered with rust and rust on the wall paper around them. The room was clean. HVAC unit was loud! I asked for a couple of bath items from the front desk a couple of times and finally found a housekeeper that helped me. Disappointed in this Hilton.
great location and staff was great. Only issue is air conditioner in room did not have a vent in main sleeping area and only in sitting area which made for a less than comfortable sleep. Thanks goodness not in summer as would be unbarable to sleep.
Horrible Management! Was charged twice by this hotel. Was told by the manager, Isaac, I booked 2 rooms. When I explained repeatedly that I did not book 2 rooms, I was still told there was nothing that can be done to refund me. Isaac even mentioned that it could have been an error on my part or system glitch when I made the reservations, but still said there was nothing that could be done!! If you are able to recognize this as a manger, why not do the right thing and refund one of the charges? Mistakes happen! I spoke to 2 Hilton Customer Service Reps that both agreed I deserve a refund, but need to go through the hotel manager to process. On top of this, when I arrived to check in, the room I selected on the app was not available (after 3:45pm) and I was put in a different room. This room had a roach in it that I immediately let the front desk know about. The area is nice, but the customer service displayed by Isaac is deplorable! He told me I should just take my case to small claims court versus refunding a small amount of money back to me! I read a review of a similar situation happening and had the same issue with Isaac, but called the next day and spoke with Melanie, who was able to help refund their money. I guess I should try the same. I will never recommend this hotel! Isaac, learn some humility, understanding and customer service!
