Now being renovated as of 4/2021. Stayed there in 2018. Much needed facelift. Can't wait to see the renovations. Great piece of the rock to relax and hang out. Local food and beverage workers used to go there on Sunday nights after work. Tug (Tug Proper) used to work there and now has his own place on Main in Highlands. Great little out of the way lodge. If you're new to the exploration of Highlands, I strongly recommend visiting (and maybe staying) this place. Will visit again with family in July 2021 and provide an updated review.

We went there for lunch. Food was horrible! Fries were not fresh, burger’s bun was old, turkey dinner was tasteless and just slimy! Not appetizing or tasty. They need to improve the quality of their food! I pad 52$ for food that you can get for 10$ at a gas-stop.nnService, though, was very good. Had no issues with the waiters. It’s the kitchen and chef that need to change!!!

Booked a last minute trip up to the mountains and they had plenty of space. It was old school, sort of a classy 1960's feel to the place. It was well maintained and clean.nnOverall great value for the area. My wife said the rooms were dingy, I just found them old, but clean. The whole stay kind of reminded me of having a sleepover at my grandparents house.nnThe mountain air was amazing and they really made you feel welcome here.

We've stayed here multiple different times over the years and absolutely love this hotel. I've never had a bad experience.They are so welcoming, and go out of their way to make sure your stay is great. The rooms are clean and I love the beautiful surroundings. We travel with our dogs and they've always made the dogs feel perfectly welcome as well. I think this hotel is a hidden gem! Thank you to the whole team for making it such a great experience.

My family and I booked a last minute room and unfortunately, we could hear the whole conversation the people were having in the other room. We ended up leaving 30 minutes after checking in. We had our money returned a week later. I will say despite all that, the gentleman working the front was extremely nice.
