I am very disappointed. I called late August to get a reservation for a night in November for my husband's 40th birthday (surprising him with a night away and dinner at Chef and Farmer). Spoke to a nice lady and was told there might be someone reserving the entire B&B but that she would know in a week or so, so she took my name and number and very politely said she would let me know. There were 2 rooms at the O'Neil so my plan was to book one of those. I did not hear a week later and gave her another week before I tried calling back and did not get a person so I left a voicemail. I never heard back. I called another week later leaving another message asking to please call me back either way, and also sent an email . I never heard back from anyone. I checked the O'Neil at this point and the 2 remaining rooms has been booked. So I called back asking one final time if she could please call me back to confirm, and also called her cell phone which I realized was on the voicemail. Guess what... never heard back. Nothing. All these times I left very nice messages, explaining I understood but needed to know for my surprise night away. Very disappointed and now cancelling my reservation at Chef and Farmer as a result.

Lovely property and delightful hosts. Linda and Ward made us feel like family as soon as we arrived. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast and service exquisite. Amazing property. We'll be back soon.

My nephew's wedding reception was held here, and it was an absolutely wonderful venue. Very untraditional, a good way! Ordinarily operates as a B&B. Downstairs has rooms like a house. Each room is lavishly decorated. There was a dining room with the main entrees and an adjoining room with table seating for approximately 14. Other rooms contained fingerfood, drinks, etc. Lots more seating throughout the house. Huge, curved double staircase that opens onto a hardwood entrance/foyer. This was used as a dance floor. There were approximately 50 in attendance. It would probably be too crowded for a bigger crowd. Very elegant. Like stepping back in time.
