Wonderful stay! Paul made us feel very at home and comfortable from the moment we arrived until the moment we departed. We enjoyed hearing the history of the property. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay there again next time we're in Asheville.

Incredible all around! We held our intimate wedding ceremony and reception at The Reynolds Mansion and couldn't have been happier. From the moment we met inn keepers Paul and Merlin, we felt at ease. Up until visiting The Reynolds Mansion, the wedding planning process had been incredibly stressful. All of our worries subsided after visiting, just two weeks before our wedding. Paul spent time listening to us, getting to know us, and letting us get to know him. He had wonderful feedback for everything from vendor suggestions to ideal spaces on the property for photographs. The entire weekend went off without a hitch. They were prompt, professional, readily willing to lend a hand, and the picture of calm on the day of our wedding. At the last minute, literally, we asked for a special song to be played as the bride walked down the aisle and just like every other request, he took care of it without hesitation. The hospitality at The Reynolds Mansion is incomparable. They even went so far as to replace a floral arrangement that had wilted overnight without being asked to do so. From the delicious food, the incredible ambiance, the hospitality, to the fascinating stories- we couldn't have asked for more. By the end of the weekend it felt like we were leaving dear friends.

What a beautiful home and a wonderful place to stay! It felt like stepping back in time, all the exceptional furnishings and details really make this B&B special. Paul and Mirlin are exceptional hosts. They took the time to get to know us, walk us through the history of the house and the distinguished families that previously owned the home, and enjoyed a wonderful conversation over their delicious homemade, 4 course breakfast. A memory to cherish and a place to recommend to friends!

Just got here but I am super impressed. Paul met us at the door with fresh water and lemon and told us about every little detail.

It's hospitality at its best.nnPaul, Mirlin, and Jim really made mine and my father's weekend stay in Asheville an absolute pleasure. Funny enough, our stay here at the Reynolds Mansion Bed & Breakfast was the highlight of our trip - even more memorable than our visits to the Biltmore, the Pisgah National Forest, and the city downtown.nnAs is echoed in many other reviews here, the breakfasts cooked here are really tasty and quite filling. The mansion itself and all of its rooms are packed with lots of character and history. Everything is very clean too and in a quaint little hilltop. Also - for those visiting during 2020's pandemic, I'm happy to report that safety measures are being appropriately taken (spread out breakfast seating outdoors with some distanced indoor options as well + masks being work by staff and guests).nnBut really the best part of the stay (as with most things in life, for that matter) is the people. Paul in particular just went so above and beyond in every way to engage with me and my father and to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. He gave us a tour of the house, he provided us with a number of recommendations for the city, and he engaged in plenty of great conversation. When my father was unexpectedly called back to work a day earlier than anticipated (leaving me to spend the last night of our shared reservation alone), Paul decided to accompany me himself for the entirety of breakfast -- a very thoughtful gesture that did not go unnoticed.nnReally made quite the lasting impression. Thank you all very much! Best wishes, and until next time!
