We traveled in to to look at wedding venues for our fall 2022 wedding. This hotel was close to downtown, and close enough to all venues that it would have been ideal for our guests to stay at. It’s dog friendly, walkable to some great scenes, and seemed like it would be a great fit. We decided to stay here to see how our experience would be. From the moment we pulled in, we were fairly disappointed. Paying to parking for a hotel like this is common, so that was not a concern of ours, but if you did not use valet, they will not give you a luggage cart. We have a 9 month old, so carrying her in, along with all of our belongings, and then trying to get checked in was quite a trip. They also will not let you unload at the front door if you are not using valet. You have to pull to a lower lot and carry all of your stuff up. Again, not a big deal if you have just one bag and your out on your own, but it was not ideal in our scenario, and I can’t imagine it would be for a wedding party either. The doormen were extremely unpleasant. My family came in to help with our daughter, as they pulled up one person told them they could unload and carry up, as they unloaded and started their trip to the front desk, another gentleman made them pack all of their stuff back up and go to the lower lot to come in.nnThe beds are very comfortable, water pressure in the shower was nice, the restaurant had great food and that’s why I gave this a two star. Other than that, one of our towels was dirty upon arriving, the floor did not appear to be vacuumed, and we noticed this mostly because we could let our child down as she would find small crumbs and try to put them in her mouth.nnWe also requested a bassinet upon arrival (around 6pm) it never arrived so we called back down to request again. It did not arrive until 10pm that night, well past our daughters bedtime of 8pm.

The hotel lobby area is very nice. Very modern artsy vibe. I ordered a high floor king room. The room is nice but small for the price. I also had to change rooms to get a better view. Overall our stay was good.

Lovely Renaissance to stay at. I love this hotel's location. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable. The bed was great, I really didn't want to get out in the morning. Also the shower had some solid pressure.

The location was wonderful and most everything was within walking distance! However, upon check-in we were told that our room was not paid for and that our breakfast wasn’t included. I’m not aware of the young mans name who checked us in, but he was highly unpleasant. Parking was an astronomical $15 a day abs our keys were not activated to leave and return to the parking lot without having to pay. The rooms were small and the showers were cold but luckily we didn’t spend a lot of time in there. We did enjoy our interactions with Keisha and Miguel in the banquet room while we had dinner and drinks. They were friendly and made us feel welcome! Harry at the front desk was very knowledgeable and kind which I greatly appreciated! And Jay at the valet was funny and made us laugh. Overall, it was the employees who made our stay enjoyable but we probably won’t stay there again.

The hotel room was great. Breakfast was delicious. However, my expensive $17 buffet breakfast had a hair in it, and we were not informed that breakfast was not FREE! It felt a bit ridiculous to be told at the front desk upon check in that there is breakfast each morning for the guests, as we would assume it is included. We then are served breakfast and told that each plate we now have is $17. Upsetting. Then we went to the front desk to ask to have the fee removed, and we were spoken to a bit disrespectfully, seemingly because we are young adults. It felt as though we were not respected/and/or taken as seriously as someone else would have been because we are 20/21. The concierge asked us questions he already knew the answer to in a very weird way that left us feeling uneasy. Overall, the hotel itself was great and clean, the pool was nice, but we are leaving quite disappointed with the service. Not to mention housekeeping walking in on us in our room as I write this review 30 minutes before we are supposed to check out.
