The location, cleanliness, and accomodations were great as expected from a Marriott location. What compelled me to write this review and rate it a five star is the front desk gentlement who greeted my wife and I when we checked in, his name was Bob. He was intelligent, courteous, kind, funny, and all at 1230am when we arrived! I am not sure our experience would have been the same without Bob, but I would in a heartbeat stay here again AND recommend any friends to do the same because of the hospitality Bob provided. I am not exactly sure how it works, but this man should be promoted, get a raise, or given whatever he asks for because he is doing a great service to the Marriott chain and deserves to be treated so.

Effortless check-in and polite, efficient service. Room is nice, but backs onto the elevator shaft so a little noisy. Hotel is convenient and close to shopping and public transportation.

We are platinum members of Marriott Hotels. We travel a lot and always stay at Marriott. Suffice it to say we know what we are doing. Although we called ahead and gave specific instructions about connecting rooms and handicapped needs, we arrived to find none of the above. When inquired, they weren’t able to help because they didn’t have the kind of rooms we needed. Oh well, we settled in for the night only to find the TV wasn’t working. We called the front office, who sent up a young fellow who didn’t even know how to operate a remote control. There was no one else help us, and there is no food service due to the pandemic, so we spent the rest of the night feeling like we are in a mom n pop motel in the middle of nowhere. Probably one of the worst Marriott experiences ever.

Good location, some problems in my room that keep me awake until 1am, front desk was so slow to solve my problem. But, finally I was able to get a new room.

I booked two rooms in March 2020. The rooms were booked through Reservations.com.nWhen the CoVid pandemic hit, I had to cancel my rooms. Reservations.com had already paid Courtyard by Mariott for our rooms and was willing to reimburse me. The Brookline Mariott refused and still refuses to reimburse me for my rooms even after I applied for waivers, appealed, applied with corporate Mariott, and appealed again!nI may not be Courtyard by Mariott’s biggest customer, but they still have lost my business .
